Just looking for some info from you guys in California. I'll be in San Diego the weekend of August 6th-8th, and was wondering if you could give me a heads up on bands playing that weekend. Thanks in advance.

Where is it that you're going to be? If you're going to be in LA or OC, check out www.laweekly.com or www.ocweekly.com . They will have the shows posted for that weekend the Thursday before.

Ohmigoodness Wark, I cant believe you couldnt wait a few weeks and make it out for a SD show.....bummer!
If you want to come up to OC, Stiff Little Fingers will be playing a show with Throwrag, and the God Awfuls. Its going to be an awesome show. Send me a PM about it if you'd like, its nice to see you on here, its been a while.

I appreciate the info tysonlb.....very helpful..I'll be in San Diego....but willing to drive to hell and back to see a good show.......

photopunk.......it's pleasure not business....but just from what I hear on the radio ocassionally here in Houston and what you talk about on the board.......are you the Tre from 94.5 the Buzz? IM me sometime....we should get together for a drink......I actually work in Houston and live in Santa Fe.....

ERICA S. ....it has been awhile....been busy as hell with work...I wish I could hold off a little while to see SXDX but it's the only weekend I can go...my wife is there for business for 2 weeks...so it's the only weekend I can go to see her.....but you Californians are spoiled..you have good concerts all the time...I envy you......although Houston is slowly getting better....I don't have your IM , I'm going to email you....thanks for the info

haha....I said PM me, but I'll look for your e-mail. [img]wink.gif[/img] Dave Alvin is playing the Troubadour on the 6th too. That should be a good one.
You should think about the Stiff Little Fingers show. Its rare that they play. Throwrag always plays. They've been touring all over the world, with some great bands like the Supersuckers and Flogging Molly. If you havent seen them, your missing out. They put on a great show.
Barflies.net hasn't updated their site recently, but when it gets closer you should check back if you havent decided what you are going to do.
